is launching a subscription-based video sharing service. Base plans
start at $6.97 for 100 minutes of video hosting and video lengths up to
30 minutes each. Subscribers also can choose premium plans for extended
video lengths, additional video storage capacity and other sharing
features.
“With the growing popularity of video,
fueled in part by social networking sites, we’ve actually seen an
increase in customer demand for alternative video sharing solutions,”
says Best Buy vice president Kevin Winneroski. “Through Best Buy Video
Sharing, customers can safely store their videos and share them only
with the friends and family they choose.”
