Twitter has decided to take your timeline into its own hands and show you tweets from accounts you don’t follow.

The microblogging social network said that it uses information based on the accounts users are following, the interaction within a user’s network and the popularity of the tweets before pushing tweets to users. As of now, the company isn’t rolling out this new feature to all the users. It says that not everyone will be seeing the inserted tweets, but that may change in future. “As the timeline evolves, we will continue to show you tweets you care about when they matter most.”
