Using host command

host command is used for dns lookup

To see MX records used by hostonnet.com, run

host -t mx hostonnet.com

Example

root@server20 [~]# host -t mx hostonnet.com
hostonnet.com mail is handled by 5 alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.
hostonnet.com mail is handled by 10 aspmx5.googlemail.com.
hostonnet.com mail is handled by 100 us2.mx3.mailhostbox.com.
