Google’s flagship Nexus 6 is all set to go up for pre-orders in India on today.

Flipkart, which listed the Google Nexus 6 as “coming soon” on its website several days ago, has now changed the status of the device to “0 day remaining”, hinting at its inevitable launch today. Though for now it is not clear if the Nexus 6 will go on a pre-order today or if it will be available for immediate sale.

Google had officially confirmed the pricing of the Nexus 6 in India by listing it on the Google Play store in India earlier this month. The Google Nexus 6 32GB variant has been priced at Rs. 44,000 in India, while the 64GB variant has been priced at Rs. 49,000. The prices are precisely in-line with what NDTV Gadgets had exclusively reported earlier.

The Nexus 6 is a device with 6-inch screen, which puts it in the category of phablets. It will compete with devices like the Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus. The smartphone is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor alongside 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear and front cameras respectively.

The Nexus 6 runs Android Lollipop out of the box.

The Nexus 6 is made by Motorola and it shares the design with the new Moto X.
